I must admit that I am also a fan of Nintendo even if I don't own a Wii (I think that paying 350$ and MUST waste my time to find one after one year is completly stupid). I'm also a BIG fan of Zelda since Ocarina of Time and yes, Twilight Princess is awesome. Awesome, yep, the best? No. I enjoyed to play Majora Mask a lot more than Twilight Princess. The gameplay of TP is made for children, of course, but I never played a game of Zelda with that much facility. I think I've lost 20 hearts at all and complete it took me about 5 hours. Graphics: 10/10 Music : 12/10 (Music is always the best point on Zelda games) Gameplay: 6/10 Storyline : 9/10.

If the game would have be a bit more hard then the overall score would be 10/10 but for now, I'll give it a 9/10.

After playing flOw for a while, and reading a little on strategy, I got to the end of the 2nd level...fun and addictive. The academic work on the flow of game design extremely interesting too.

With the idea of flow in mind--a balance between challenge and abilities--I did some reading of reviews on Twilight Princess. Having tried my hand at some Flash and C++ games, I never thought about that balance. How fascinating. So last night, even before I've gotten my Wii, I purchased Z:TP from Gamestop (with store credit from older trade-ins). Now I'm ready.

Somehow from flOw I ended up at Line Rider, which is soon to be released for DS and for Wii!!! I was so excited I could hardly contain myself yesterday. I'll be going back to play some more today.

We've arranged for Christmas that I'll be getting a Wii of my very own (when supplies allow). Can't wait!!! Meanwhile, reading more on the VC games, SD *alternate uses*, and other excitement for the Wii. Also, looking forward to Sadness--looks AWESOME (except they used Scriptina for the logotype... *sigh*) Keep an eye on that one.

Man, I wish I'd waited for THIS post to write my last comment. I knew if anyone had the Wii, you'd be at the top of the list. Have you beat the new Zelda yet? My cousin had blasted through it after about 35 hours, he said. sheesh. Of course, even if I HAD bought the system, I couldn't have put that much time into it yet... Still, I'm excited just to have spent the afternoon playing. It's great fun, though, and our family had a similar experience--non-gamers and gamers alike joining hands. Wii really took the "video game" stigma away, at least with their sports games.

This Thanksgiving my family all got together and my 16-year-old cousin brought his newly purchased Wii. We got to play all the WiiSports games (and Zelda) for about 4 hours and it was great fun. I tossed the Wiimote across the room when bowling--always be sure to use the lanyard--but it was unscathed despite landing on a tile floor (and even re-synched despite tossing its batteries). The new Zelda interface is great too. My shoulder is still sore two days later from baseball and tennis. This Christmas, despite my family's agreement of low spend, I'm hopeful...

Yeah, no kidding! While I am a gamer at heart, and have enjoyed both my PS2 and Xbox, I keep getting drawn back to Nintendo...

I think it has a lot to do with the quality of their first party games and the innovations they continually bring to the table; first d-pad, first shoulder buttons, first analog stick, first rumble feature, first handheld, first true 3D action game... the list goes on and on.

I see Wii as bringing even more innovation to the game than anything before it, and I'm pretty sure many people who've never even touched a controller will pick up the "Wii-mote" and give it a try!

I'm with you, Mike. While I haven't played my Cube in at least 6 months, I am still in love with the simple idea of playing some Wind Waker on a day off. Can't wait to see how the competitors respond to Nintendo's intent to sell way under the $300 mark (~$150 was the last I heard) for the new system. And the controls--makes every part of the little boy inside me happy and giggly.
